Every Voice Engaged Foundation recognizes that your privacy is very important and we take it seriously. This privacy policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, disclosure, and sharing of your personal information or personal data when you use our services. This privacy policy applies to activities by Every Voice Engaged Foundation and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively �we� or �us�). Collection and Use of Information

Customers are asked to provide certain information when they use our Services, including, but not limited to, such information as their name, address, telephone number, and other demographic and related information, and billing information (such as a credit card number). The customer information collected during the registration process is used to manage each Customer's account. For example, we may use credit card information for billing purposes, and we or the Sponsors of forums may use demographic information to better understand who is participating in their forums or to create a more tailored or customized experience.

In order to better understand our Customers, we may collect additional data about the Customer or the Customer's industry from the Customer or third-parties. We may also derive data from Customer's usage of our Services. For example, we may conclude that you have a specific skill associated with certain forums based on your repeated use of the forums. We use this data to improve our Services and to provide greater value to our Customers and Sponsors.

We use registration information to contact you in a variety of ways. We may send you information about Every Voice Engaged Foundation�s products and services through email, phone or regular mail. If you order products directly from Every Voice Engaged Foundation, we will use your information to continue to provide you products that you are interested in. You may exercise your options to not receive any marketing from Every Voice Engaged Foundation by opting out through any marketing email sent to you. Customers should note, however, that they may still receive administrative emails from Every Voice Engaged Foundation.

Because many of our Services are specifically designed to help Companies better understand their Customers, the personal and private data you share through these Services will be shared to these Companies. For example, a local city may use our Services to prioritize budget allocation for neighborhood improvements. If you participate in these Services, you should expect that the local city has access to your data (see also our Terms of Service).

We do not sell your personally identifiable information to third parties who were not involved in the use of our Services. For example, if you join one of our communities or create an account to use our Services, we will not sell your personally identifiable information to others. However, we may sell or display aggregated data or related data that does not specifically share your personally identifiable information. For example, we might provide a dashboard of the most common uses of our Services, such as the most popular frameworks. We might also use your data to display ads in certain of our Services.

Service Providers

We engage certain trusted third parties to perform certain functions and provide services to us, including, without limitation, hosting and maintenance, customer relationship, database storage and management, and direct marketing campaigns. We may share your information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to binding contractual obligations requiring such third parties to maintain the privacy and security of your data. Business Transfers

As we continue to develop our foundation, we might sell or buy additional services or business units. Also, in the event that Every Voice Engaged Foundation or substantially all of its assets are acquired, user information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

Customer Feedback

We may periodically conduct market research activities, such as forums or surveys, to improve our foundation. You may also be asked to provide feedback on other members of our community. For example, a Participant may be asked to evaluate how well a forum was managed by a Facilitator. The feedback you provide may be shared with others to help them improve their performance. We encourage Customers to participate in these voluntary forums because they provide us with important data that helps us to improve the types of services we offer and how we provide them to you.

Compliance with Laws

It is Every Voice Engaged Foundation�s policy not to use or share customer information in ways unrelated to the ones described above. However, we may disclose your information if we are required to do so by law.

Children Under the Age of 16 (Europe) and 13 (elsewhere)

Protecting children's privacy is especially important to us as many people who work at or with Every Voice Engaged Foundation have children. If you are under the age of 16 (for GDPR compliance) or 13 (elsewhere), you must get your parent or legal guardian's permission before using our Services. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

Public Data

Some Services allow for the creation of a Public Profile. For these services, when you create your Public Profile you explicitly agree to allow Every Voice Engaged Foundation to use your profile information in search results, promotions, and data analysis, subject to any controls that Every Voice Engaged Foundation may provide to you for managing your profile. You may opt of these Services if you do not want your information to be displayed publicly.

Cookies

An HTTP cookie (also called web cookie, Internet cookie, browser cookie, or simply cookie) is a small piece of data sent from our website or software platforms that is stored on your computer by your web browser when using you're using them. We need them to store and manage information like your session ID when you're logged in and using our Services. When you visit our websites, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website ("Log Data"). We may use Log Data to monitor the use of the Site and of our Service, for technical administration, and to improve the effectiveness of our forums. For example, Planners may wish to prevent participants from the same IP address from playing the same forum to help ensure a diversity of participants and results.

Data Security

Every Voice Engaged Foundation has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. While we make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party "hackers" from illegally obtaining this information. We will promptly notify you if we suspect that your personal information has compromised as a result of a breach of security. Every Voice Engaged Foundation staff will never ask you for your password through email, forum chat, or any other medium. Do not disclose your password to any third party. If you suspect that your Every Voice Engaged user account has been compromised, please notify us immediately at admin@everyvoiceengaged.org.

How to Access or Modify Your Information

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page with a notice that the privacy policy has been updated on the Website home page.
